Atemporal Episode 1 — Pilot / 1122

I started DJing in 94/95. Been around. Moved to London 99 and inspired in part by pirate radio, launched ATR / Advanced Theory Radio 'round 00, with friends. At the time we were one of only a small handful of online radio shows.

Every Monday we'd gather the crew, the vinyl, the 1200s, jazz, soul, funk, jungle, techno, hip hop, drum & bass, ambient, house, electro, etcetera. We'd record to minidisk, transfer to computer, convert to RealAudio, upload to a server and link it on our website. Rinse and repeat.

After a hiatus, I began a special edition ATR mix in 2011, then lost file in 2012, then found it again in 2022. Continued work on it, extended the mix, formed the fire and it is here as Atemporal — Pilot 1122

Atemporal — Episode 2 / Metalheadz Version 🎧💀📡

I've been following @metalheadzmusic since about 96. I was lucky enough to drop into that Blue Note basement and Metalheadz Sunday Sessions, in 97, like a revelation. Then, in 99/00 while living in London I was regular at Metalheadz, every Sunday, 7pm sharp. 🗡️

Throughout this era I was deep in graffiti — haunting train yards with end to ends and whole cars.

For Episode 2, I dug deep into the Metalheadz catalogue on Bandcamp and my vinyl collection, pulling old & new vibes, injecting graffiti history, and painting a version of those days & nights between the train yards, headphones and the clubs.
